Abstract: This study investigates the impact of globalization on vocational curriculum development in Nigeria, exploring how global trends and practices influence educational content, skills training, and workforce preparation. Globalization has transformed the economic landscape, emphasizing the need for vocational education to adapt to changing industry demands and technological advancements. The research aims to (1) analyze the influence of globalization on vocational curriculum design, content, and delivery methods, (2) assess the integration of global competencies and cross-cultural skills in vocational training programs, and (3) propose strategies for aligning vocational education with global workforce requirements and economic trends. A survey research design is justified to gather insights from educators, curriculum developers, and industry experts. A sample size of 400 participants will be selected through purposive sampling to represent vocational institutions, industry stakeholders, and globalization experts in Cross River State. Case studies will highlight institutions implementing globalized curriculum frameworks. Findings indicated a growing emphasis on digital skills, entrepreneurship, and global competencies in vocational training, yet challenges include curriculum standardization and adapting to rapid technological changes. Recommendations include enhancing international collaborations, integrating global perspectives into curriculum frameworks, and fostering continuous professional development for educators to prepare students for global career opportunities and economic integration.
